B4, during, and after X'mas

gonna begin now bloggo...

on x'mas day!! ... : Went to the mall with my Dad in the afternoon. don't remember the last time i went to the mall alone with my DAd... hahx. Anyway we were looking for the LOTR The Two Towers VCD... in the end bought this special edition 4-disc set that runs for almost 4 hrs for $15.90 [still haven watch finish yet... *guilty*] When we came back it was raining quite heavily and I was a bit wet. yeppp.

da nxt day (boxing day!!... : went to meet weiqi at ny. wanted to look for a tchr, but rmbed tt she transferred elsewhere already. this was probalby the VERY LaSt time i would ever wear ny uniform again. *bit nostalgic*. we went to the bus-stop and met xingrong later while we were contemplating where to go! ended up wandering over to bugis junction and took quite a long time to pack lunch [soup, four leaves bread for moi.] b4 proceeding to my lil nest [= my house. had a nice ice-cream along the way.]. did nothing much at 1st... tv... read mags... then we ended up practising da 'sword'!!!! :D due to the absense of a proper brain, i have conveinently forgotten the entire 4-duan4-sword-routine, but fortunately managed to employ the assistence of weiqi-instructor =) it was a lot of fun and we were laughing abt dumb jokes n stuff. :D oh yes. i've decided tt the 4-duan4-sword is to be called 'MonkIEEEE Exercise Routine [MER]' in Wiggoish. got this inspiration while trying to take down all the steps of this MER, in the most rotten form of english/chinese/singlish the world has ever seen. then i realized tt MER would be a gd name while i was reading thru it. hah!

wq went back at abt 5 and i began my evening-tv-routing (ETVR) aft sending her off at da mrt. =)

27 (yesterday) (sat)...: went to tiong bahru pllaza in the late morn w/ mom. saw this nice pair of red/black shoes... but it was more red than black n nj only allows majority black/white shoes (hey, wat about grey?), and i'm desperately in need of another pair of 'school' shoes (i.e. nice shoes that must be comfortable, thin n good-ventilated, cannot have too high heels, cos otherwise i'll feel like walking on sticks. din noe i'm so 'ma2 fan2') *sighs*. anyway we (mom n i) had lunch at burger king. then i went to xinyi's house! we met at boon lay mrt and she kindly accompanied me while we wandered (from 1st floor upwards) in jurongpoint in search of a pair of bermudas for moi 'cos i'm short of 'mid-length leg wear.' (or watever.) in the end i got a pair of shorts (at this place called AMC??? or wat???) ON the 1ST FLOOR (n wat did we walk up all the way for? exercise, of course. Hah. :D)
we played an internet game for a while at xinyi's house... then she taught me voilin!!! i always liked the violin, because it has such a rich sound (though not when it is played at high pitches). it was real fun... even though i can barely make a sound at the right pitch yet *oops*... but everybody's gotta start somewhere, dont' they. *hah* :D actually i had been thinking abt taking up a 2nd instrument for a long time (at least 6 mths already i guess). I had been thinking about harmonica or guitar ... but not to sure. see wat happens nxt yr first i guess!

anyway i had planned to go to yixi's house after that, but she was fetching her dad from the airport (i think). so i ended up going home after that, then went to ikea w/ mom to look at shoe racks. had the ikea hotdog for dinner... yah tt's abt all... :D

so school is starting nxt fri! omg. so fast. Wish I could have more hols. still don't know wat's the programme for the 2 wk orientation. hmmm. maybe the tchrs like to surprise us. hmmm.
