V Day! Debate and Enlightenment. (?)

long time no blog... ah... too many stuff to do... somehow I feel that I'm very free... though there's SO MUCH hw this weekend and everything ahz... so many stuff to write... no time to write... ahz.

now: talking to juliet, monica n timothy. it's been a long time since 6AE met. honestly... i think i miss 6AE... i didn't see a lot of ppl at ALL for the past 2 yrs... to think that we all sat together nxt to each other for two yrs (some even more!) and faced everything together. and now we're like strewn in all directions. apart. but spiritually... maybe ... we are still a cls?! *dunno.*

today:

anyway :D okay today we had roadrun at nj. basically it was ok. Mr Bernard Tan (our philosophy teacher) came in first of ALL the ppl, believe it or not, with 15 mins and 7 secs for THREE POINT SEVEN km. omg. he's so good. i was so impressed!

today meisan n i went back to ny. good to c the wushu juniors... though... it wasn't as 'sunny' as expected. and we gave kaileng and weiqi a daisy each :D i think i won't go to JTCC for wushu anymore... after all that ... i mean... okay I'll try braddell first. yep. anyway, weiqi, meisan n i went to west mall again after tt =) we visited the library there 2.

I bumped into liu xinyi and sinyu in ny! HOnestly, there are few things which beat seeing your old friends again... really. =)

Btw, something happened today. I was at the Bukit Batok MRT when a three girls came and approached me. They were from this church near cresent girls'... and they began telling me abt their religion (christianity). To tell the truth, I think religion is a wonderful thing. [i am, btw, an atheist. which = no religion] i think it'd be really nice to have such a solid and sound faith. but no matter how, I just can't convince myself that wat a-certain-religion says is true... that THIS is true amongst the millions/zillions of possibilities in our world. yep... *kinda sad... am i too scientific? * *but how else do you TELL if you don't base on evidence? intuition??? close ur eyes and just walk where you think you should walk?* *sighs ;)* the girls were really nice though. actually i believe tt u don't need a religion to have faith... though i guess it's alot easier to have faith if u have a religion =)

(btw, i don't mean any offence in watever i said, if anybody in this universe does find it offensive!!)

the past wk: we had a good debate on thurs. it was one of the few good debates that i've ever participated in *embarrassed, but nvm*. the motion was : saddam hussein should be tried internationally, and i was prop. i realized that there are a lot of good debaters around me! *wow* *extremely impressed* I think we all need more work though.

the seniors are supposed to go for the NUS debate competition today, but we couldn't go cos of the roadrun. *wonders how it went*!

i think i'm settling down to nj. i still rmb i took abt 6 mths to settle down in ny! but... it was good lah... i mean it was worth it. 2003 was a great yr and 2/10 was a great cls ;)

so... happy v day everyone... and ... most imptly... happy EVERY-day.
