you just threw it all away

I was going home from debate at alex's house. Reaching near my house, there were police cars. People gathered. Police 'tape' 'taping' the scene. White plastic covering something on the floor- bodies, I think

Then I heard on radio that a maid jumped to death with a child. Jumped or was pushed, I don't know

In police shows, in forsenic shows like CSI, it seems to cool to look for evidence, to discover the truth behind all the gruesome crimes. But in real life such things are REAL. They cause pain they break hearts they SCAR or BREAK people. Often, humans beings are just. I can't find a suitable word. Maybe foolish, but that's not strong or vulgar enough

But I ought to be thankful. This is selfish, but I'm glad the bodies being driven away were not of somebody I know or knew
